Hanken Graduates from U.S. Army Ranger School

WOLCOTT - Army Spec. Joshua W. Hanken has graduated from the U.S. Army Ranger School at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga., with authorization to wear the distinctive Ranger Tab. A graduate of the ranger course is the epitome of the U.S. infantryman.

Sunshine Auto Parade to be Held in Sodus Point

SODUS POINT - The fifth annual Sodus Point 4th of July Celebration Sunshine Auto Parade, sponsored by the Village of Sodus Point, will be held on July 3 at 7 p.m., the same night as the Ring of Fire around Sodus Bay (9:30 p.m.) and the fireworks (10 p.m.).
