Tinella (Tina) M. Montemorano

CLYDE- Mrs. Tinella (Tina) M. Montemorano, 104, of Lock Road died July 16, 2008 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Family and friends called July 18 at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St., Clyde. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on July 19 in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church with the Rev. Joseph Marcoux officiating. Burial followed in St. John’s Cemetery
Memorial contributions to St. John’s Church Memorial Fund, 149 Sodus St., Clyde, NY 14433 would be appreciated.
Mrs. Montemorano was born in Clyde on Aug. 21, 1903, the daughter of Santo and Angeline Cozza Salerno. In 1923, she married Michael A. Montemorano. In 1929 she and her husband began the M.A. Montemorano Company. Her husband pre-deceased her in 1972.
Tina’s first priority in life was her family and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She also loved her gardens, both vegetable and flower. She was also a past member of St. John’s Church Rosary Society.
She is survived by: her son Santo (Sylvia) Montemorano of Clyde; her daughters Agnes McKinney of Clyde and Jean (Leo) Vetter of North Rose; 25 grandchildren; 66 great
grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; her brother Peter Salerno of Clyde and her daughter-in-law Lou Ann Montemorano of Clyde.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Pasquale (Pat) Montemorano; three sisters; four brothers and two step-brothers.
