Clyde Sports Hall Inducts New Honorees

   CLYDE - Sports have always been an important part of the Clyde
community, with more former heroes honored at the eighth annual
induction Ceremony on April 4 at the Clyde VFW.
Paul and Carol Sharp, who moved back to Clyde in 1968, were presented
with a special achievement award. Sharp wanted his sons be able to
experience the same community, school and sports opportunities that he
had enjoyed as a youth in Clyde.

Buck leads the Way in a Weekly Mod

WILLIAMSON - He is the winningest driver at the fast half mile Spencer oval, earning some 143 feature career wins in four different divisions. Buck Catalano leads the Weekly Modified feature win total at Spencer with 48 feature wins. The division has gone through a number of name changes over the years including Grand American Modifieds, WIS Modifieds, SST Modifieds and now Weekly Modifieds.
