LYONS – Ethel J. Teeter, 76, of Lyons, passed away on April 11, 2009 at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic.
Family and friends were invited to call on April 14 at the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, Lyons, where a funeral service was held following visitation.
Ethel was born on June 16, 1932 in Erie, Pa. She retired from Newark DDSO after 25 dedicated years of employment. She was a hard worker, loving mom and an avid WalMart shopper.
She is survived by: her nine children, Rebecca (Stanley) Bulman of North Carolina, David (Terry) Teeter of Pennsylvania, Bret (Peggy) Teeter of Pennsylvania, Brian (Brenda) Teeter of Newark, Dean (Becky) Teeter of Rochester, Denise (Pat) O’Connor of Savannah, Brenda Teeter of Lyons, Danya Matthys of Lyons and Dan Teeter of Savannah; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Tom Teeter.
Ethel’s family would like to express their extreme gratitude for the care given, compassion and empathy to the care givers at Clifton Springs Hospital and Cancer Center.
