WILLIAMSON - R. Brooks Associates held a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of its field service and training center in Williamson Aug. 11.
The building at 6546 Pound Road, diagonal across Route 104 from their headquarters, is fully functional and ready to train nuclear service professionals and test custom inspection tooling and robotics.

MACEDON - A representative from Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s Office spoke to Macedon seniors at an annual picnic on the topic of consumer fraud as part of Cuomo’s statewide Consumer Awareness Initiative.

The Williamson Business Improvement District was awarded a grant for $80,000 from Federal economic stimulus funds for the replacement of the sidewalk on the north side of Main Street beginning at State Route 21 and extending west to the municipal parking lot adjacent to the Original Candy Kitchen. The design and engineering fees for the replacement of sidewalk - approximately $8,400 - will be funded through the town budget.
