NR-W Students and Teacher Recognized at Art Awards Ceremony

 The North Rose-Wolcott School District’s art program was once again
recognized at the Central New York Regional Scholastic Art Awards
ceremony on Jan. 21. Winning 24 student awards is an outstanding
accomplishment by any school, but is even more telling for such a small
fish in the big pond of the Central New York.

Friends of the Walworth-Seeley Library

 WALWORTH - The Friends of the Walworth-Seely Public Library recently
elected officers at their January meeting. Serving for the 2010 year
are: President Kitty Meier, Vice President Dorothy French, Treasurer
Valerie Knight, and Secretary Jane Cala. Meeting times for 2010 have
been changed to the third Thursday of every month at 10 a.m. in the
Walworth Town Hall meeting room.

Red Creek Rotary Donates for Haiti Disaster Relief

RED CREEK - The Red Creek Rotary has raised $300 to assist the
victims of the 7.2 earthquake that struck Haiti on Jan. 12. The
donation comes from the Red Creek Rotary’s presentation of Billy
Martin’s Cole All Star Circus which drew sold-out crowd to the Red
Creek High School on Sunday.
