An Open Letter to the Attorney General and US President

An Open Letter to Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Hussein Obama:

To the Editor:

I am probably wasting time, but I have to tell you it is simply beyond belief how and why you two incompetents are so determined to put this nation at serious risk by insisting that Muslim terrorists be afforded civil trials on U.S. soil.

You want us taxpayers to provide free “legal aid” for the potential release of these bloodthirsty savages, when they clearly should all be facing military trial procedures, subjected to the most vociferous interrogation—including WATERBOARDING—and if found guilty (and at this point, WHO thinks they ARE NOT?), execution. You fools don’t really think they may be INNOCENT do you? The cost to Americans for this lunacy and the security to prevent attacks during it is estimated to exceed a billion dollars.

And IF, (as it clearly appears to be what you would like) they are NOT sentenced to death in YOUR civil trials, Americans will have to pay for their housing, food, clothing and medical care for the rest of their lives. That seems nice doesn’t it! They’ve only succeeded in murdering 3,000 of us on 9/11, hundreds before that, have tried for hundreds more since then, and continue to try.

So if they go to jail, you two—Obama and Holder-- should be made to pay those costs if it comes to that. AND THE VAST MAJORITY OF AMERICANS HOPE IT DOESN’T. For some reason the word “impeachment” comes to mind.

You have convinced me—and countless millions of other Americans—that you are: 1. Rather stupid. 2. America haters. 3. Unworthy of the positions you were given after successfully conning so many trusting but gullible voters last Nov. We can only hope and pray that the terrorists already within our borders do not succeed in a mass-murder of Americans because of your screwy attitudes about this civil trial matter.

Clearly, neither of you—nor the people you have appointed to deal with it-- have the faintest idea of what America is up against, nor how to effectively handle it. It will boil down to the requirement for, and common sense of, concerned voters to throw out every politician who is, as you two are, a serious threat to America’s safety and security. Hopefully, the recent elections in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts will reflect a tsunami vote in 2010 and 2012 that will accomplish just that.

And I haven’t even mentioned your total failure in the area of airport security, the costly absurdity of your dictatorial, pork-laden and incomprehensible 2,700-page health “care” monstrosity cobbed up behind closed doors by some of the most left-wing legislators in history, your greedy gulping of the blatantly fraudulent Al Gore warming hoax and his cap and tax ripoff, your numerous lies about televising health care proceedings, and countless other costly, illogical, anti-freedom schemes. Nov. 2 can’t come soon enough.

Regarding our fragile economy; What should we expect from a guy who refuses to provide his college grades? Did he take any economics courses? We don't know. Was he prepared to be the leader of the free world? Don't know. What should we expect from a guy who never had a real job, or any work experience, where he had to make a profit, pay any bills, or make payroll. He was a community organizer who followed the teachings of the radical, Sol Alinsky. What did we expect. Can he relate to the average American? Also, after a year in office, what are his accomplishments? What has he really done except quadruple the debt, and put our country close to bankruptcy? And take over GM and Chrysler. What's next? Care to guess?

Gee, if you look back on the greatest Americans and leaders of our country over the past 200 years, I think you'll find that "college grades" had nothing to do with their suitability for office. Ronald Reagan never took an economics course.

And that "guy" also happens to be our president, and he helps keep you safe every day, whether you care to admit it or not. There has not been a successful attack on US soil since his inauguration, something recent presidents cannot claim as a victory. Have a little pride, or have you lost that as well?

"Never had a real job." How can you say that around here, knowing what the president's previous work experience is? Do you know anything about Upstate New York? Most of the employees out here are community laborers, organizers and teachers. Obama was a teacher, and he worked as a community organizer doing the same types of things that the Red Creek Revitalization Committee does or similar such organizations across Wayne County. He's got two kids, puts them to school, and pays the bills like the rest of us. Look at his tax returns, which you can Google. (Incidentally, have you released your college grades or taxes online? I didn't think so. So if you're calling our president a radical, I think it's fair for me to call you a hypocrite.)

"Was he prepared to be leader of the free world?" Well isn't that a loaded question? Who is ever "prepared"? There are only three prerequisites for the job as defined by our Constitution, and the president met every one.

Never had to pay bills, make a profit, or make payroll? Did you forget his 2008 Presidential campaign, the largest in the history of our country? He ran a multi-billion dollar campaign with tens of thousands of employees spanning the entire nation, with advertisements, advanced planning and all the acoutrements. In just a few short months, he was able to build one of the most successful campaigns in history. There is nothing radical about that, it reflects great business and social savvy by the president and his staff, and also his great sense for free market capitalism and the free market of ideas.

Enough is enough. A man doesn't have to stand up every day and try to prove himself to your ever-changing standards of judging and scrutiny. You don't know who the president is at this point? Look it up.

Also, before you falsely accuse this president of quadrupling the debt, moving our country to bankruptcy, or questioning his accomplishments, perhaps you yourself should go back to college economics beyond just "Econ 101." And after that, we'll walk you through a few civics courses so you can see that asking one man to single-handedly turn around the economy and reform Congress is not the job of the president, but of the citizenry. It isn't too hard to see, in that light, that your criticisms and your tone are a total cop out.

As for the author of this piece, no words can dignify this incredibly inane piece of garbage. Or your cowardice. The president stands up and takes blows from people like you every day, yet you have your "name withheld by request"?

Any human being that excuses torture for any means is a monster. Senator John McCain is a great critic of this president, and he calls waterboarding torture--and he should know, as he was a victim of this type of violence in a Vietnamese prison camp. The information provided through torture isn't just scant informationally, it runs counter to everything we stand for. We make the decision, every day, to either be America the courageous or America the Nazi replica.

There is so much to say in response to your gross statements in this piece that I could go on for thousands of pages.

Suffice to say that your use of the phrases "America hater" and "anti-freedom" should provide the readers with a clue as to the type of leadership folks like you would provide--as an example, given the choice between a first grader in social studies class or you, I would take the first-grader 100% of the time. Your rhetoric is so inflammatory, so immature and so against the principles upon which the foundation of our republic rests that it is almost like you're burning the stars and stripes to me and so many folks out there.

So the moral of the story here is: (1)Don't be a coward. (2)Don't complain about partisanship if you are just going to be partisan anyway. And (3) Sack up and recognize that you are not entitled to a Big Mac at McDonald's for every meal or a 72-inch flat screen LED TV in your living room. You, sir, are indeed responsible for every American on our soil--and they, in turn, are responsible for you. And if you think "individual freedom" strips you or them of that awesome responsibility, then I don't know why our forefathers even bothered to sail across the ocean and bleed and die for us to carve out a place called America, that would be different and special and strong for everyone. They should have just listened to you, as you probably would have told them that "the New World" was blatantly false and a hoax, and that some new ideas about freedom of religion and thought made them terrorists or miscreants.

In the end, I'll say that if you wanted perfect leaders, I don't know who you would have voted for in 2008 because none were without fault. No President is perfect, Congress is worse. FOXNews and the folks you have tea parties with cried that others were painting Obama to be "the Messiah," which was very embarassing to him and his supporters as it was obvious he is not. It's going to take more than one man to win the war on terror, to fix an ailing economy, to rid the world and our nation of violent extremists of any bent. What's scary is that it's going to take folks like you and I, and judging by your comments, sir, it doesn't sound like *you* have the faintest idea what we're up against.
